ACTIVITIES
The project’s activities were designed to reach whit maximum efficiency the objectives of the project. The first activities were focused on the mass-media debate of the problem of sustainable development in the cross-border region Maramures (RO – Zakarpatia (UA). At the same time with the awareness activities will be started the construction of the conference hall for the cross-border Romanian-Ukrainian partnership group.
Furthermore will be deployed training activities for a GIS project management cross-border team and will be initiated first data collection activities regarding the socio-economic environment and the resources which have the capacity to sustain a new integrated development cycle in the project region. Will be realized the Social-Economic Cross-Border Cohesion Guide for The Upper Tisa’s Axis, a Feasibility Study for the establishment of The TRANZIT Business Centre at Sighetu Marmatiei. The project’s results will be promoted in the mass-media.
Also important for the good deployment of the action will be the project’s management activities which entails the continue monitoring and evaluation of the results.
1. The relationship with mass-media (press conferences and
radio-TV broadcastings);
2. The decoration of the place earmarked for the meetings
of the Partnership Group RO-UA;
3. The “Project Management” Course;
4. The GIS implementation for the data base administration
of the project region;
5. The outlining of “The Integrated Strategy of Social-
Economic Cooperation for the Upper Tisa’s Axis” by the
Cross-Border Partnershsip Group RO-UA;
6. The creation of the social-economic data base for the
project region;
7. The outlining of the “Cross-Border Social-Economic
Cohesion Guide for the Upper Tisa’s Axis”;
8. The publication/distribution of informative materials,
on electronic and paper support, web page;
9. The outlining of “The feasibility study for the creation of
the TRANZIT Business Centre in Sighet”;
10. The promotion of the project and its results: visits to UA
and final seminar in Sighet;
11. Monitoring and evaluating the project.
